The Bradbrooke Sailing Academy is a Canadian Yachting Association (CYA) member sailing school.
We take pride in maintaining the Canadian Yachting association's standards of sailing excellence, and in our own high levels of achievement. Graduates of the Bradbrooke Sailing Academy receive national certification for the level achieved.
The Bradbrooke Sailing Academy encompasses instruction from the novice to the expert sailor. Our goal is to offer a complete sailing experience based upon excellent instruction, safe environment, utilizing top of the line equipment in a fun and dynamic atmosphere.
Located at Schooner Cove Marina, Bradbrooke Sailing enjoys a great location and access to the best mid-island sailing scene.
We stress practical training and intensive personalized instruction. Students enrolled in the Academy become competent skippers or crew, prepared to enjoy the lifestyle and sport of sailing to its fullest.

Basic Sailing Camp (Ages 8 - 12)
| Course Fee: $180.00(ages 8 - 12, or by permission) Schedule Application
Besides having a whole lot of fun, student can expect to learn about the wind and water, boat safety, how to rig and de-rig a sailboat, how to tack a sailboat and how to tie several knots. This camp includes day trips to Ballenas Island and/or Yeo Island. |

Youth CYA Programs: White Sail I / II / III or Bronze Sail IV/V
| Course Fee: $200.00 (White) or $280.00 (Bronze)(sailors must be 11 years of age, or by permission) Schedule Application
Bradbrooke Sailing offers the more rigorous Canadian Yachting Association levels. It is strongly recommended that youths take at least one Basic Level course before entering the CYA program. You can expect to learn sailing terminology, points of sail, tacking, gybing, righting a capsized boat and knots. Upon completion of White Sail you will be able to confidently skipper your own small sailboat. Course Fee: $200.00 Bronze Sail IV covers advanced sailing techniques, including sail trim, boat tuning, boat maintenance, rules of the road and trapezing. Bronze Sail V focuses on sail theory, trapezing and using the spinnaker. After completing the bronze levels sailors are competent in winds up to 18 knots. Course Fee: $280.00 |
